ভুলে ই-মেইল, ফিরিয়ে নিন

Send বাটনে চাপ দিতেই মনে পড়ে গেল ই-মেইলে যে ফাইলটি যুক্ত (অ্যাটাচড) করার কথা তা আদতে করা হয়নি। কিংবা বন্ধুর জন্য লেখা ই-মেইলে ভুল করে বসের ঠিকানা জুড়ে দিয়েছেন। ই-মেইল তো অনেকটা মুখের কথার মতোই—একবার বেরিয়ে গেল তো ফেরত নেওয়ার আর সুযোগ নেই। তবে ই-মেইল সেবাদাতাটি যদি জিমেইল হয়, তাহলে পাঠানো বার্তাটি ফিরিয়ে নেওয়ার জন্য অন্তত কিছুটা হলেও সময় পাবেন। ‘Undo Send’ নামের সুবিধার মাধ্যমে ভুল করে পাঠানো ই-মেইল তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে মুছে ফেলা বা থামিয়ে দেওয়ার সুযোগ পাওয়া যায়। জিমেইল ল্যাবসে বছর ছয়েক আগে সুবিধাটি যোগ করা হলেও তা ছিল পরীক্ষামূলক। সে সময় এই সুবিধা নিজের জন্য যোগ করে থাকলে অবশ্য নতুন করে কিছু আর করতে হবে না। যদি নতুন করে যোগ করতে চান, তবে নিচের ধাপগুলো অনুসরণ করুন।

জিমেইলে ঢুকুন (লগ-ইন)।

পর্দার ওপরের দিকে ডান কোনায় গিয়ার আইকনে ক্লিক করুন।

Settings নির্বাচন করুন।

General ট্যাবের নিচে Undo Send অংশে যান।

Enable Undo Send-এ ক্লিক করুন।

পাশের তালিকা থেকে ৫, ১০, ২০ বা ৩০ সেকেন্ড সময় নির্বাচন করে দিন।

পর্দার নিচে Save Changes বোতামে ক্লিক করে নতুন সেটিংস সংরক্ষণ করুন।

এরপর প্রতিবার কোনো ই-মেইল পাঠানোর পরে ‘Your message has been sent’ লেখার পাশে Undo বোতাম দেখতে পাবেন।
